| In about or around 1994 I came into the interest of visual imaging through my friend Fuad Azmat Dean, a photographer in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After working with fuad for a few years, I invested in my own gear, quit my day job (much to the horror of friends and family) and started taking pictures in exchange for monies. I opened my first studio in Menasha and the work came slowly but steadily for the five years I was there. Then, after meeting a Videographer by the name of Matt Hoppe, I moved in with him into a 4K square feet studio in Downtown Neenah. At this time I was mostly photographing Weddings and doing portraits..but graduated from taking pictures into creating photographs..with alot of study and alot of practice. Matt and I were in Neenah for a bit over three years and the business grew..and grew..until it was completely out of my controll any longer..I couldn't keep up..It was too big. Then..the recession came to my rescue and the big studio was no more. The Cook photograph Company is nowlocated in a friendly little industrial shop off American Drive in Neenah. I specialize in Weddings, Commercial Photography and Portraits. I dabble in design work and enjoy doing travel work whenever possible. The downsized studio environment allows me to focus a bit more energy on being creative..rather than generating massive cashflowfor the storefront. I love what I do. and thanks for your five minutes...Thanks to all my friends and family..past and present..you know who you are..for getting me where I am and bringing me through where I've been... I currently spend my time between my family, teaching at the Fox Valley Technical Center, riding motorobikes and working for you... and no..I don't own the boat in the pic :) G 920.216.5077 |
